Vol. 19 No. 2 (2025)

The International Journal for Educational Media and Technology (IJEMT) is a respected peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in educational media and technology studies. Published biannually, it is the result of a collaborative effort between three leading organizations: the Japan Association for Educational Media Studies (JAEMS), the Korean Association for Educational Information and Media (KAEIM), and the Teaching, Colleges, and Community Worldwide Online Conference (TCC).

IJEMT welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers and practitioners worldwide. We especially encourage presenters from the International Conference for Media in Education (ICoME) and the Teaching, Colleges, and Community Worldwide Online Conference (TCC) to develop their presentations into full research papers. The journal provides an excellent opportunity to expand a conference presentation into a comprehensive scholarly publication through a rigorous peer-review process.

This winter issue features refereed papers originally presented at the 2025 Teaching, Colleges, and Community Worldwide Online Conference (TCC), along with contributions from an open call for papers. Submissions were evaluated through a double-blind review process by representatives from the TCC and IJEMT editorial boards, comprising international faculty specializing in ICT, eLearning, and educational technology.

We are pleased to present six papers that explore the cutting edge of digital pedagogy. This year’s collection places a significant emphasis on the integration of Artificial Intelligence, ranging from GenAI and predictive analytics to self-regulated learning and interactive teaching models. Together, they offer vital insights into enhancing student success and instructional design in an increasingly tech-driven educational landscape.

We hope this issue contributes to the growing body of knowledge established by previous IJEMT publications and fosters continued dialogue among researchers in the field of educational media and technology.
